We offer three awe-inspiring options:
1 Day
Experience s dramatic alpine scenery while flying in to the Clarence River, then paddle out amoungst the fastest growing moutain range in the country, to the rugged Kaikoura coast. A big day with fun whitewater, awesome scenery, a delicious lunch and a big sense of achievement at the end of it all.
2 Day / 1 night
Fly from Kaikoura to the Dart Stream and camp overnight. Relax around the camp fire as your guides prepare your evening meal, using seasonal local produce from the garden, the Kaikoura coastal waters, and the mountains. After breakfast the next day paddle out to the coast, learning about the fascinating geology of this remote valley along the way.
3 Day / 2 nights
An exceptional helicopter flight is the ulitimate way to begin your 3 day rafting journey. Spend a couple of nights camping in the Sawtooth Gorge before paddling back to civilzation. You will literally travel from the mountains to the sea – starting at an altitude of 700 metres. Experience this remote valley, leave your cell phone behind and forget about work – there is plenty of time to unwind. Every twist and turn brings a new vista. Along the way experience the open tussock lands of the Molesworth, three spectacular gorges of twisted rock strata interspersed with open braided river sections, impressive alpine peaks, remote high country stations, and amazing geology of the region.
